Graphic Design Projects
We’ve been fortunate to work with incredible clients around the country. The following are some examples of brands we have created, along with designs for logos, packaging, collateral and websites we have worked on over the years.
We worked with this client out of Pennsylvania on visioning and developing the brand for their new marijuana company. Calypso is an orchid genus, and as marijuana is a “flower” we decided to playfully use that as the icon for this pictorial logo, which has been abstracted using the hexagon from the THC molecular structure. Using a font that speaks to old Calypso vinyl records further helped to strengthen the logo design.
STUDIOTROPE DESIGN COLLECTIVE
studiotrope felt it was time to rebrand with the formation of their collective. The new suite language was developed around their practice: three distinct studios working together to manifest holistic creations. The icons were developed from the negative spaces of the typeface, acknowledging the interconnected nature of the studio. The website is designed around studiotrope’s interdisciplinary approach to design exploration and process. Icons are used for navigational purposes to connect their collective projects. www.studiotrope.com

Over the last eight years, we have worked with and developed a variety of brand related designs for marQaha, a Denver based marijuana company. Our designs include the logo; advertisements; print collateral: posters, stickers and postcards; packaging for all products; infographics; and exhibit design pieces.
marQaha is a very old Arabic word that refers to the “bliss” felt while drinking coffee. It has also come to mean “someone or something impossible to hate”. marQaha infuses everything they do with this idea in their approach towards their customers and patients. Their passion lies in creating and offering handcrafted drinks, edibles and other medicinal products made with organic ingredients that bring a feeling of bliss.
Education is a keystone component to marQaha's business model. They wanted approachable, informative infographics to provide to the general public. The infographics below were developed in that vein to reach a wide audience. Each infographic is available in a downloadable format on their website, and will be printed as handouts, postcards and posters for companies around the country.
marQaha likes to present their products in a unique way.
The images below represent the various flavors and types of edibles they have on the cannabis market.
Another eduction based collateral piece we designed for marQaha is this dosing instruction handout shown below.
A few more examples of older work are shown below. They were developed before the logo was updated to a solid bright green butterfly.
Bioactive skin care products. MyChelle was the first company to use anti-aging peptides, plant stem cells, and clinically proven dermatological ingredients. Their approach to beauty is to provide clean, conscious, and comprehensive skin care products that are bioactive, ethically sourced, and formulated with high-performance ingredients for superior results and a lifetime of natural, healthy skin. Our design project scope included the development of new packaging designs for their dermaceuticals line.

Kalot is a Colorado-based company that creates nutrient-rich tasty superfood - nut butters blended with fruit and spices that are naturally full of antioxidants, essential minerals, healthy fats and phytonutrients. They were in need of a marketing piece to celebrate their new line of nut butters, so we decided to develop an oversized postcard to highlight the brand, various flavors and product potential. Kalot has been proactive in sharing the many ways to use their butters, like with fruit, oatmeal, yogurt, sandwiches, smoothies, in baked goods or by the spoonful. We highlighted their mission to make the vibrant health you crave attainable & enjoyable. kalotsuperfood.com
This project focused on branding and logo redevelopment for Greenergy, a medical marijuana company in Denver, Colorado. The client wanted their products to be represented with a clean, pharmaceutical sensibility, as their primary target demographic included cancer and epileptic patients in Colorado. In keeping with this medicinally focused aesthetic, we worked with the molecular structure of the plant and created logos specific to the product type. The packaging design of their labels were for infused coconut capsules - indica, sativa and 1:1 blends.
