Whole Foods in Wichita is a cornerstone for the city’s eastern upscale Waterfront Plaza. This 30,900 square foot building has recessed truck docks and an outdoor covered patio seating area with a fire/water fountain feature. Wichita is the Aircraft Capital of the World. With a nod to flight and a way to acknowledge this local aesthetic, we worked with Vermilion to design features using metal, rivets and aircraft wing construction, along with elements created with crop irrigation circles, sunflowers and instrument panels.
